Mt.Makalu is fifth highest mountain in World.  Mt.Makalu, situated 22Km to the east part of Mt.Everest and 80 km west of Mt.Kangchenjunga. The trekking trail boundaries in the Makalu-Barun National Park.This Area renowned for its natural beauty and rich biodiversity.

Makalu Base Camp Trekking offers one of the most wonderful and various trekking routes in the Himalayas of eastern Part of Nepal. The separation due to the distance of the region has been successful at preserve the region’s typical culture, flora and fauna. Rare species of animals and plants flourish in the diverse and undisturbed habitats of the region. The unaffected beauty of this region is sure to shock anyone visiting  this region.The National Park is established in 1992. Makalu trekking is formerly a restricted trekking area, it extent five major ecological zones where the lush, tropical Arun Valley, dense forests or rhododendron and fir and alpine meadows can be found that lead to the mighty Barun glacier. Mount Makalu (8463m) the world’s fifth highest peak; Chamlang Himal and Barun Valley are the major jewels of this Trekking area. Makalu trekking region and Everest trekking region are close to each other. Day 01: Fly to (Kathmandu) - Tumlingtar and trek to Khandbari/ camping.

Day 02: Khandbari to Fururu and O/n at tented camp.

Day 03: Fururu to Num and O/n at tented camp.

Day 04: Num to Sindua and O/n at tented camp.

Day 05: Sindua to Tashi Gau (village) and O/n at tented camp.

Day 06: Tashi Gau to Kauma and O/n at tented camp.

Day 07: Kauma to Mumbuk and O/n at tented camp.

Day 08: Mumbuk to Nhe Kharka and O/n at tented camp.

Day 09: Nhe Kharka to Sherson and O/n at tented camp.

Day 10: Sherson to Makalu Base camp and O/n at tented camp.
