Lower Dolpo Trekking 23 Days

Lower Dolpo Trekking is a hidden treasure and a isolated trekking destination in Nepal. The Dolpo region is best known of the More remote high Himalayan valleys across northern Part of Nepal, Dolpo conserve one of the last miscellany of conventional Tibetan traditions. Legend says it's a one of the "hidden valleys" created by Guru Rinpoche as a shelter for spiritual Buddhists in worried times. Surrounded by high mountains including the Dhaulagiri Big to the south-east and cut off by high passes closed by snow half the year, Dolpo's easiest access is from Tibet, where its people emigrate from perhaps more then 1000 years ago.

Lower Dolpo trekking has its own unique charm with its remote areas and it was well known as the ‘hidden treasure of Nepal’. The trek crosses over three high passes, Kangmara La (5,115m), Numa La (5,159m), and Baga La at (5,190m). The trek will take us through protected areas and leads us to amazing ‘Phoksundo Lake’ surrounded by attractive flora and fauna.

Lower Dolpo trekking begins after flights from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and then to Juphal.  The major highlight of this trek includes Shey-Phoksundo National Park which is the largest National Park of Nepal. Shey-Phoksundo Lake is another highlight of this region. The lake is totally free of aqua life, which the crystal waters clearly explain. Surrounded by rock, forests, and snow- capped peaks, the area has been described as one of the World's Natural Hidden Wonders. We also offer other similar trekking packages in and around the Dolpo region among which Shey Gompa Jomsom Trekking is a popular choice of many trekkers.
